GOOD FRIDAY 2024

This year is once again like no other…

We are still battling Covid-19 But  Without Restrictions!!!

Therefore,  the traditional Pilgrimage of OUR TRADITIONAL GOOD FRIDAY MORNING AND EARLY  AFTERNOON Way of the Cross usually organized by the Catholic individuals, Prayer  or Community Groups will be back in force.

Gates opened from 7.00a.m.

so get organized now!!!

As Lent advances we contemplate the redeeming Mystery of the Cross which aids the Church in her pursuit of the renewal of the faithful. The image of the Cross may help each of us to learn more fully the meaning of Christ’s sacrifice, and how we are to imitate His example. We can hope that our prayers as you stop for this moment, in veneration, which focus on the Crucifixion of our Lord will help atone for our own sins and the many grave sins of our society.

In Association with the Bacchus Marsh Good Friday Association, We invite one and All to join

His Most Rev Bishop Martin Ashe, Auxiliary Bishop of the Western Regions for

The Good Friday Liturgical Services

starts from 2.30 p.m.

together with Mgr. Benedict Camilleri, Rev Carmel Borg, Rev Brian Glasheen and other members of the Clergy…

We are still determined to show our unconditional devotion to Our Blessed Mother of Sorrows,

This service takes place on a somber and reflective tone.  Remember that making a sign of the cross is a simple and beautiful form of expressing our devotion. By making this sign, we affirm our faith in Christ crucified and ask for His blessing and protection. It is also a gesture of reverence to the Blessed Sacrament.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROCEED TO OUR AMPLE CAR PARKINGS.
PLEASE also BEAR IN MIND IT IS A SACRED PLACE
WE ASK YOU TO SHOW RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER
BE CONCIOUS OF MAKING IT EASY NOT JUST FOR YOUR FAMILY BUT ALSO FOR THOSE WHO HAVE COME ON A PILGRIM JOURNEY WITH JESUS AND MARY…

AND WE THANK YOU!!!

We wish you all a very holy Lenten journey…
